Lady Bodam has been instrumental in starting new businesses and building luxury and premium brands in Western Africa. Her extensive experience includes building multinational brands and managing sales teams in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry where she excelled in marketing, operations and performance.
Currently serving as the Head of Portfolio, Bond & Connect, Nigeria at Pernod Ricard, Lady Bodam plays a significant role in creating and driving the execution of long-term strategies for sustainable and profitable portfolio growth. Her expertise in the industry allows her to effectively lead her team while achieving the company’s goals.

Through The Refined Lady School, she offers Signature Courses and Masterclasses covering various aspects of Executive Presence, Etiquette, Protocol, Grooming, Diplomacy, Communication and Hospitality. She also trains organisations on Leadership, Corporate Ethics and Business Etiquette. She hosts The Refined Lady’s Summit – an annual conference on feminine leadership, elegance, and culture, designed to equip and empower Female Leaders.
She has also been a Facilitator at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, for the LBS-BOI Business Innovation Accelerator Programme and the NLNG Graduate Training Programme, teaching Business Etiquette, Poise in the Workplace and Dress Etiquette.
Lady Bodam runs The Marketing Advisory Hub which is a consulting service for SMEs and MSMEs across Africa. In partnership with Barong Asiodu, they founded The Bloom Circle with the sisters which is a powerful platform for mid-senior level Female Leaders to network, build relationships, access support and advice and enhance their leadership abilities.
In 2023, Bodam was awarded as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications by Brand Communicator and WIMCA. Also, during International Women’s Day, she was recognised, alongside other iconic women, as one of The 50 Most Impactful Voices in Africa by ABCD Africa and one of 10 Women Showing Up: Resilient Creator Edition by ShowUp HQ.
In 2022, Bodam was recognised as one of Nigeria’s Top 100 Career Women by 9-to-5 Chick. She was also awarded the Distinct Positive Values Award of the Year by The Iconic Brand Awards (TIBA) for her positive impact on society.
In 2021, Bodam was named one of Leading Ladies Africa’s Top 100 Most Inspiring Women in Africa. She was also honoured as one of twelve extraordinary Visionary Women of African Descent in the 2021 Future-Forward Female Folio.
Bodam holds a B.Eng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Reading and an M.Sc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey. She currently serves as a Volunteer Mentor in both institutions. In 2022, she also served as a mentor in Women In Business, Management and Politics (WIMBIZ) and the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE).
She has a certification in Luxury Spirits Marketing from a collaboration programme run by INSEAD Business School for Diageo Brands Ltd. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.
When she’s not impacting lives or building brands, she enjoys reading, travelling, spa sessions, long conversations over a meal, cocktails or a glass of wine and playing with her nieces.
